Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

INSTALACION
El aparato en servicio tiene que quedar instalado a una distancia de 65 cm. por encima de la encimera de cocina eléctrica, y de 75 cm. por lo menos en caso de cocinas o encimeras de gas o mixtas. En su versión aspirante, el tubo de expulsión de los humos debe tener un diámetro de 150 mm. En los tramos horizontales el tubo debe estar ligeramente inclinado (10% aproximadamente) hacia arriba, para facilitar la canalización de los vahos al exterior del ambiente. Las mejores prestaciones se obtienen con tubos de salida cortos y con pocas curvas.

EMPLEO
Existen dos posibilidades:
Conexión eléctrica
Antes de proceder a cualquier operación desconectar el aparato y cuidar que la tensión de la red corresponda a la que se indica con la placa de caracterÃsticas, situada en el interior del aparato. La campana dispone de cable y clavija de conexión, bastará simplemente enchufarlo en una clavija conforme a las disposiciones vigentes. Si la conexión es directa a la red hay que instalar un interruptor de doble polaridad, igualmente conforme que tenga una separación entre contactos, de no menos de 3mm. No se asume responsabilidad alguna por no respetar las instrucciones indicadas.
Versión de expulsión al exterior (S)
Los vapores son aspirados hacia el exterior por medio de un tubo de descarga que se fija al anillo de unión que se encuentra sobre la campana. El diámetro del tubo de descarga tiene que ser idéntico al del anillo de unión (� 120mm). En los tramos horizontales el tubo debe estar ligeramente inclinado (10% aproximadamente) hacia arriba, para facilitar la canalización de los vahos al exterior del ambiente. Si la campana está provista de filtro de carbón, hay que sacarlo.
Versión de aire en circulación (K)
El aire se filtra mediante un filtro de carbón (al tener que colocarlo ver párrafo "Filtro de carbón") y através de la rejilla por la parte inferior de la chimenea, regresa al ambiente. Si la campana no está dotada de filtro de carbón, hay que pedirlo y montarlo antes del uso. Se recurre a este sistema en locales donde no exista la tuberÃa de expulsión o cuando no sea posiable instalarla.
